The client

Manyana Transport is a family-run courier and B2B transport business based in Swadlincote, right in the heart of the Midlands. They handle same-day collection and delivery across the Midlands and the UK, and run loads into Western Europe too. The name carries the promise: manana means tomorrow, and their whole pitch is delivering tomorrow, today.

The problem

The business had no website at all. Work came in on reputation and repeat custom, which speaks well of the service, but it left them invisible to anyone searching for a same-day courier in Swadlincote or B2B transport in the Midlands. When your competitors have websites and you have nothing, you lose jobs you never even knew existed. They needed a proper online presence, and they needed it without a drawn-out project eating into the day job.

What I did

I designed and built a brand new one-page website and turned it around in 48 hours from brief to live.

The design is modern and slick on purpose. Transport is an industry full of dated, cluttered websites, so a clean, confident page immediately sets Manyana apart. Everything a potential customer needs sits in one scroll: what they do, why to trust them, how the process works, where they cover, and how to get a quote.

The page is structured to answer a business customer's questions in order. The services section leads with business-to-business distribution, backed by the things that actually win transport work: same-day collection, dealing direct with the people driving the van, honest communication, and modern, tidy vehicles. There is even an ADR qualification badge, so customers moving hazardous goods know they are covered.

A simple four-step process section walks customers from enquiry to delivery: tell us the job, get your quote, we collect, delivered. No mystery, no friction. It finishes with a contact section built around how this trade actually works: e-mail for a quote, call if it is urgent.

Special functions

The quote form posts to my own client portal rather than a third-party plugin. It is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam bots, with a hidden honeypot trap as a second line of defence, and every enquiry is emailed straight to the Manyana inbox and stored as a backup so nothing slips through.

The site ships with proper technical SEO from day one: LocalBusiness structured data telling Google exactly what the business is and where it operates, full social sharing meta tags, a sitemap and robots file, and even a branded 404 page. Analytics only loads if the visitor accepts cookies, with a privacy-first consent banner offering a genuine decline option, and the privacy and cookie policies are built into the page.

Every image is converted to WebP and properly sized, and the whole site is served from Cloudflare's edge network, so it loads fast whether the customer is at a desk in Derby or on a phone in a loading bay.

The results

Manyana Transport went from no web presence to a live, professional website in two days. There is now a proper destination for referrals and repeat customers, a credible first impression for new B2B clients checking them out, and a quote form that funnels every enquiry into one reliable route. The local SEO groundwork is in place, so searches for same-day courier services around Swadlincote and the Midlands finally have somewhere to land.

The takeaway

A transport business does not need a sprawling website. It needs one page that looks the part, loads instantly, answers the questions a traffic manager actually asks, and makes getting a quote effortless. Forty-eight hours was enough to take Manyana Transport from invisible online to looking every bit as professional as the service they deliver.
